About Jose

Undergraduate student currently studying BSc Chemistry with a foundation year at the University of Kent, and also aspiring to be a Secondary School Chemistry teacher. The reason I want to teach is to be able to help students who are at a disadvantage in getting a top-quality education. The importance of equal opportunity education will allow students to achieve amazing results by being able to believe in themselves and have a support system that will vouch for them to reach their dreams and prospects.

About the lesson

I have tutored/helped students with their revision, enhancing their knowledge in Chemistry, and gained real-life teaching experience through informal work experience at my old secondary school. My teaching approach involves relearning or reteaching the content, conducting revision sessions, and/or using exam questions, either through test papers or made-up exemplar questions. This could be tailored for individual students or for a group of students. Although this could also depend on how the student prefers to learn. The typical length of a lesson is ideally 50 minutes, although lessons can be longer as per request. This would ideally be for students in Secondary School (KS3, GCSE and A-Level).
