About Mady
I’m a Cambridge Medicine student who achieved 4A*s in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Further Maths A Level, and 9s in all STEM GCSEs.
I have several years of tutoring experience, including supporting students with EAL and SEN needs. I teach Chemistry from KS3 and GCSE through to A Level, adapting lessons to each student’s ability, exam board and goals.
I’m patient, approachable and focused on making complex biological concepts clear and engaging. I can help you build your understanding, develop exam technique and improve your confidence, whether you’re catching up on difficult topics or aiming for the highest grades.
I am also DBS checked.

We’ll start by reviewing homework, previous topics and any areas you found challenging.

I’ll explain new or difficult concepts clearly, using diagrams, examples and links between topics to strengthen your understanding. We can follow your school's curriculum, learn new topics or review topics at your requests - all depending on your preferences.
- Guided practice
We’ll work through exam-style questions together, focusing on applying knowledge and understanding what examiners are looking for.
- Independent practice
You’ll tackle questions independently while I provide feedback and help identify areas for improvement.
- Exam technique & homework
We’ll review key points and exam technique before setting targeted homework to consolidate your learning.
Lessons can be adapted to your exam board and goals, whether you’re preparing for GCSE or A Level exams, catching up on content or aiming for top grades.
