About Sera
My lessons are designed to make chemistry approachable, engaging, and fun, especially for students struggling with concepts or chemical equations. I create a warm, interactive environment where curiosity and problem-solving take centre stage. I use captivating visual aids, simple experiments, and real-life examples to make abstract ideas tangible and memorable. Lab safety, historical discoveries, and environmental chemistry are woven into our discussions, showing how chemistry shapes both science and society. For Olympiad Participants and aspiring Researchers, I offer targeted guidance to deepen understanding and accelerate progress. My lessons turn complex reactions and equations into accessible, fascinating stories. You’ll gain confidence in analysing problems, interpreting data, and applying concepts beyond the classroom. I focus on building both knowledge and critical thinking skills so learning feels empowering.

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My passion lies in the fascinating world of food chemistry, particularly food preservation and analysis. I love exploring the chemical changes that cause food spoilage and understanding how antioxidants, emulsifiers, and preservatives work to maintain quality. I enjoy teaching the science behind various preservation methods such as canning, drying, and fermentation, showing how each technique protects food at the molecular level. My lessons bridge theory and practice, helping students see the chemistry behind everyday foods and processes. I guide students in understanding food safety and quality from a chemical perspective, highlighting how chemical principles ensure what we eat is both safe and nutritious. Through interactive explanations, real-life examples, and problem-solving exercises, I make complex concepts accessible and engaging. I aim to spark curiosity and critical thinking, encouraging students to connect chemistry with the world around them. Together, we uncover the invisible reactions that make food last longer and taste better.
