About Grant
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. My teaching follows a holistic and interdisciplinary approach. I focus especially on forensic chemistry and its real-world importance. Students find the subject fascinating.
We explore drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene investigation methods step by step. I often use simulated case files so learners can think like investigators. Each case becomes a learning journey. I explain analytical instrumentation principles such as chromatography and spectroscopy in simple language.
Ethical considerations are always part of the discussion. Science must be accurate and responsible. I also guide students interested in forensic science careers and law enforcement roles. They learn both theory and application.
My goal is to make chemistry meaningful beyond textbooks. I enjoy watching students connect evidence to conclusions. Chemistry can uncover hidden truths. Together we use science to solve mysteries and contribute to justice.

My teaching focuses on clear understanding and real-life use of Chemistry. I begin with strong basics and then move to guided problem solving. We study acid–base chemistry in detail, including strong and weak acids, bases, and salts. I teach simple methods to calculate pH and explain why the formulas work. Students also learn how chemical ideas apply to daily life such as digestion, cleaning agents, and water quality.
I give special attention to titration, indicators, and careful calculations. We practice drawing titration curves and understanding equivalence and end points. Buffer solutions are explained using easy logic and repeated examples. I connect these topics to chemical equilibrium and Le Chatelier’s principle so concepts feel connected, not separate. Regular numerical practice improves speed and accuracy.
I support advanced and competition-oriented learners in developing deeper thinking. We discuss challenging equilibrium problems and Olympiad-level questions step by step. I encourage analytical thinking, not memorization. My goal is to help students feel confident in chemical calculations and independent learning.
