About Lydia
In my chemistry lessons, we journey into the theoretical foundations that define this fascinating science. My teaching approach is gentle and reflective, encouraging curiosity and patience while exploring the mathematical side of chemistry. We focus on the deeper layers of understanding found in physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics. Each topic is approached step by step, connecting abstract ideas to real chemical systems. I believe that understanding chemistry begins with appreciating the laws that govern molecular and atomic behaviour. Through clear explanations and guided problem-solving, we uncover how energy, matter, and motion shape the reactions we observe. Complex theories are simplified without losing their depth, allowing students to see the beauty in the logic of chemistry. My goal is to help learners build confidence in handling advanced concepts and to find their own perspective in understanding them. Together, we’ll analyse equations, explore theoretical models, and relate them to practical phenomena.
