About Nora
With over a decade of teaching Chemistry, I’ve come to see it as more than just a science — it’s a story of how matter interacts and transforms. My teaching aims to make this story come alive for every learner, fostering both comprehension and fascination. I approach every lesson with the goal of simplification without losing scientific depth. My students learn through visualisations, analogies, and guided reasoning that make even complex organic and physical concepts approachable. Over the years, I’ve taught students from various academic levels — from secondary school learners to university aspirants. Each of them receives a personalised approach, balancing problem-solving, conceptual clarity, and confidence building. I often integrate insights from everyday chemistry — from food and cosmetics to environmental science — to help students connect classroom concepts with the world they experience daily. My mission is to nurture future scientists and curious thinkers who see chemistry not as a memorisation-heavy subject, but as a dynamic field of exploration, discovery, and understanding.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to make abstract molecular concepts visible and logical. We begin with atomic structure and bonding before advancing into chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and organic mechanisms. Every topic is taught with clarity, connecting molecular theory with real-world chemistry. I use molecular models, animations, and step-by-step reaction mapping to simplify difficult mechanisms. For example, when teaching organic reactions, I guide students to visualise electron movement and energy changes rather than just memorising reaction names. Interactive exercises and real-world examples — such as how pH affects biological systems or how electrochemistry powers devices — make learning meaningful. Each session focuses on reasoning and application, enabling students to understand the “why” behind chemical behaviour and to think like scientists, not just students.
