About Vivian
My passion for chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform. I completed a B.S. in Chemistry followed by an M.S. in Chemical Sciences, gaining strong theoretical and practical knowledge. Over 7 years of teaching, I have supported students across different levels, helping them build clarity and confidence. I teach with patience and adaptability, using visual explanations, real-world examples, and structured problem solving. I encourage students to ask questions freely and develop independent scientific thinking. Beyond teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through ongoing study and exploration of new developments. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I witness students overcome confusion and discover confidence in their scientific abilities.

My lessons cover organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, focusing on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, thermodynamics, kinetics, and reaction mechanisms using clear explanations and relatable examples.
Lesson plans are adapted to individual needs. Beginners focus on foundational concepts, chemical language, and basic problem solving. Intermediate students strengthen reaction understanding, numerical chemistry, and analytical reasoning. Advanced learners work on complex mechanisms, equilibrium systems, and exam-focused problem solving. Each lesson includes explanation, guided practice, and review to ensure clarity.
