About Ariel
I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, combining foundational and advanced study with extensive practical laboratory experience. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students at multiple levels, from high school learners to university aspirants, helping them understand and apply complex chemical principles. My approach emphasises clarity, structured guidance, and interactive problem-solving, ensuring concepts are not only learned but internalised and applied confidently. I strive to create a supportive, engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. Lessons combine theory, application, and experimentation, fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and independent problem-solving. I emphasise real-life examples, demonstrations, and reasoning exercises to build both technical competence and intellectual confidence. Beyond teaching, I remain actively involved in chemical research, environmental chemistry, and modern analytical techniques. Incorporating current developments allows students to see chemistry in action and understand its relevance across scientific, industrial, and everyday contexts. Beginners receive clear, patient instruction on fundamental concepts like molecular bonding, stoichiometry, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners build confidence with multi-step reactions, thermodynamics, and quantitative reasoning. Advanced learners tackle spectroscopic techniques, reaction optimisation, and complex mechanisms with detailed guidance and problem-solving practice.
