About Wren
My passion for chemistry began with a fascination for molecular interactions and the logic behind chemical reactions. I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Chemical Sciences, specializing in reaction mechanisms, organic synthesis, and analytical methods. Over 12 years of teaching, I have guided learners of all levels in developing conceptual understanding, practical skills, and problem-solving ability through structured and engaging lessons.
I emphasize clarity, structured explanation, and real-world relevance. Many students struggle with abstract concepts or experimental techniques, so I use practical examples, stepwise guidance, and hands-on exercises to build comprehension and confidence.
Outside teaching, I actively participate in research, lab projects, and applied chemical studies, which enrich my lessons with practical context. Watching learners transform from uncertainty to mastery, analytical reasoning, and confidence is incredibly rewarding. Supporting students in understanding chemistry while fostering curiosity, skill, and critical thinking remains the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Beginners focus on atomic theory, chemical bonding, simple reactions, and lab safety, developing foundational understanding. Intermediate learners explore stoichiometry, titrations, equilibrium, kinetics, and multi-step calculations. Advanced learners engage with organic synthesis, spectroscopy, analytical methods, and experimental design, integrating discussion, practical application, and guided problem-solving. Each lesson combines theory, exercises, and application to ensure deep understanding.
