About Riya
I am a Chemistry major and premed student at Duke University. I focus on STEM tutoring and have a strong passion for helping students build confidence and succeed in challenging math and science courses. I specialize in chemistry and mathematics and enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable concepts that students can genuinely understand and apply independently.
I have 4 years of experience in tutoring, independently and at Kumon. My tutoring style is strict but interactive and highly personalized to each student’s learning pace and academic goals.
My goal is not only to help you improve grades and test performance, but also to help you become more confident, both inside and outside the classroom.
