Our son (age 16) has been having weekly tutoring sessions with Emma for 6 months in the run up to his dual science GCSEs. The difference in his understanding and knowledge across all 3 subjects has been incredible with significant improvements in his trial exam scores versus his end of year 10 results. All his science teachers have reported improvements across the board in his attainment levels. However the biggest difference we have noticed has been in his confidence in his ability to understand the subjects. Previously he didn't really have faith in his ability to succeed in the sciences however with regular one to one sessions with Emma his self-confidence has improved immeasurably resulting in a much greater belief that he can do well and as a result a much greater drive to succeed in his GCSEs.

Probably the most important thing is how much he looks forward to each session and how rewarding he finds them. Emma is always very organised and structures the sessions and topics around his needs, working around his timetable and extra curricular activities.
