My course of study is chemistry with a major in Education, so I'm a qualified teacher.

Well chemistry deals with the study of composition, properties and uses of matter. And its one of the three main branches of science.
Matter is anything that has mass and occupies space.
In recent years chemistry have been very useful to man. The usefulness of chemistry cut across;
Food,
Clothing,
Medicine,
Transportation
Housing,
Military. Etc
Chemistry also have its adverse effect on human. In terms of;
Drug abuse,
Pollution,
War. Etc
There are also beautiful careers in Chemistry, such as;
Health science,
Teaching,
Agriculture,
Extractive industry. Etc...
Hopefully in due time we gonna talk much on Chemistry..
Now Maths..
Like I always tell my students, mathematics is the simplest subject because the formulas have been the same for years...
Eg: 1+1=2
8-4= 4
2*2=4. Etc
Its just for you to know and state the formula correct and maths unlike other subjects doesn't require steady upgrade because the formulas are the same for years... Thanks.
