About Shrikala
I hold a Master's degree in Chemistry from University College Dublin (UCD) and live in Ireland. I have experience tutoring students in Chemistry and Science, and I genuinely enjoy helping young students understand difficult topics and build confidence in their abilities.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I'm a friendly, patient, and approachable person, and I try to bring that same positive energy into my lessons. I enjoy getting to know my students and making lessons feel comfortable, engaging, and enjoyable rather than stressful.
I'm passionate about teaching and love seeing students go from saying *“I don’t understand this”* to confidently solving problems on their own.

My approach to tutoring is **patient, personalized and focused on understanding rather than memorization**. I adapt each lesson to the student's level, learning style and specific goals.
**Teaching methodology:**
I explain Chemistry concepts in simple, easy-to-understand terms, using examples and step-by-step problem solving. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in lessons. For exam preparation, I focus on past-paper questions, revision techniques, key concepts and exam strategies.
**Lesson length:**
Lessons are typically **60 minutes**, but I can adjust the duration depending on the student's needs and age.
**Qualifications & experience:**
I hold a **Master's degree in Chemistry** and have tutoring experience helping students understand Chemistry and Science concepts, improve their academic performance and prepare for exams.
