About Callum
I am currently in my second year of studying Graduate Medicine at the University of Southampton. My first degree was a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Bath. Prior to my previous degree, I achieved an A and A* at A-level in Chemistry and Maths, respectively. When applying for medical school, I had in-person and virtual interviews, receiving offers from everywhere I applied, and I scored in the 95th percentile on the UCAT exam.
I am a friendly and outgoing person with strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for learning. My main passions outside of work include sports, art, cooking and music.

I focus on teaching students to think through questions methodically rather than simply explaining the answers. I do this to ensure that they understand the key concepts needed to tackle any exam problem in a step-by-step manner.
Once I am satisfied that the level of understanding is good enough, I work through past papers with the students and give them key advice on revision strategies and exam techniques to make sure they achieve the highest possible results.
I have extensive experience in tutoring chemistry and mathematics with a proven record of improving tutee grades in both subjects. I have been tutoring both in-person and online for over 5 years and have experience working with SEND students and children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
