About Purnima
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Sciences and a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry. I have 9 years of experience teaching chemistry to students from different educational backgrounds. My interest in chemistry began through exploring how substances interact and influence the world around us. Teaching allows me to share that fascination while helping learners build confidence in science.
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and adaptable. I recognize that students learn differently, so I adjust lessons to fit individual needs. Some learners benefit from visual explanations and diagrams, while others prefer step-by-step problem solving. I encourage questions and active participation during lessons. Building understanding is always my first priority.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific discoveries and advancements in chemical research. Staying informed helps me bring modern examples into lessons. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence in chemistry and improve their problem-solving abilities. Supporting learners through that journey is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand how matter behaves and changes in different conditions. I teach atomic structure, chemical reactions, bonding, periodic trends, acids and bases, and laboratory concepts through clear explanations and practical examples. Students learn how different chemistry topics connect to one another instead of studying them as separate units. I focus on building strong understanding before moving into more advanced applications. Every lesson is organized to encourage steady improvement. Learning becomes easier when students understand the reasons behind chemical behavior.
Lessons are tailored to suit each student's learning style and academic goals. Beginners focus on essential concepts and scientific vocabulary. Intermediate learners strengthen calculation skills, reaction analysis, and problem-solving techniques. Advanced students work on complex applications, laboratory interpretation, and examination preparation. Practice activities are included regularly to reinforce learning.
