About Vivienne
My passion for chemistry developed from a fascination with how microscopic interactions lead to visible transformations in materials and energy. This interest led me to pursue an M.Sc in Molecular Chemistry, where I explored both theoretical concepts and practical applications. Over 13 years of teaching, I have supported students in transforming confusion into confidence through structured explanation and steady encouragement.
I believe chemistry education should be supportive and adaptable. I take time to understand how each student processes information and adjust explanations accordingly. Whether using visual models, analogies, or step-by-step breakdowns, I aim to make chemistry approachable and meaningful.
Outside teaching, I continue engaging with chemistry through academic reading, applied research discussions, and exploration of modern chemical technologies. Teaching chemistry is deeply fulfilling because it empowers students with scientific understanding and confidence that extends beyond the classroom.

Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand the invisible processes that govern matter and chemical change. I focus on building a clear conceptual foundation in atomic theory, molecular structure, chemical bonding, reaction pathways, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and equilibrium. Each topic is introduced in a structured and gradual way, allowing learners to see how ideas connect rather than treating concepts as isolated facts. By emphasizing reasoning and cause-and-effect relationships, students develop deeper understanding and long-term retention.
Lessons are carefully adjusted to match each learner’s level and learning pace.
