About Zara
I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Industrial Chemistry, with 12 years of experience teaching chemistry at secondary and higher-secondary levels. My academic background gave me a strong balance of theoretical understanding and industrial application, enabling me to explain chemistry in a practical and relatable way. My teaching style is patient, methodical, and supportive. I take time to understand where students feel uncertain and provide explanations that build clarity gradually. I believe confidence in chemistry develops when learners clearly understand the purpose and logic behind each concept. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with chemistry through continuous learning, curriculum enhancement, and applied concept exploration. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because I see students gain clarity, confidence, and a structured scientific approach that supports success across disciplines.

Chemistry becomes clearer when students understand how theoretical concepts translate into observable chemical behavior. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual foundations by explaining chemical principles in a structured, logical, and approachable manner. Through visual aids, reaction pathways, and real-life examples, I help learners see chemistry as a connected system rather than isolated facts.
Students begin with atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding, and stoichiometry. As confidence grows, lessons expand into thermodynamics, equilibrium, electrochemistry, acids and bases, and applied organic chemistry concepts. I emphasize step-by-step problem solving, reaction understanding, and clarity in written explanations to strengthen both accuracy and confidence.
Chemistry lessons also improve analytical thinking, precision, and scientific discipline. Over time, students become more comfortable handling complex calculations and explaining reactions clearly. My aim is to help learners feel capable, curious, and confident in their understanding of chemistry.
