About The Prep Pod Annie

Hello! I am Annie, a passionate and dedicated educator specializing in English and Grammar, Foundational Math and Elementary Science for year 1-6 students.

I also teach Basic Science and Technology to year 7-9 school students, and also Biology and chemistry to year 10 students.

I have over 5 years of experience teaching students of various backgrounds.

I focus on making complex concepts simple, engaging, and easy to understand.

About the lesson

"Hi there! My name is Annie and I am incredibly excited to help you excel in English, Mathematics, and Science. I am a graduate of Industrial Chemistry and also a QHSE professional with 15 years of working experience, 5 years of teaching experience and, 3 years of online tutoring.

Over the years, I have discovered that many students feel overwhelmed by these core subjects simply because they haven't been taught in a way that matches their unique learning style. My teaching philosophy revolves around making abstract concepts simple, relatable, and highly engaging.
Whether we are breaking down complex math equations, exploring scientific wonders, or mastering English grammar and comprehension, my goal is to build your confidence and foster a genuine love for learning. Together, we will transform their challenges into top grades.

MY SPECIALTY:

* Primary School: English, Mathematics, and Science (building core confidence and critical thinking).

* Junior Secondary School: Basic Science and Basic Technology (making complex foundational concepts easy to grasp).

* Senior Secondary School: Chemistry (simplifying abstract topics, chemical equations, and exam preparation).

MY TEACHING APPROACH:

* Concept-First Learning: I break down difficult topics—whether it is primary arithmetic, reading and comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, junior secondary basic technology, or senior secondary chemistry equations—into simple, bite-sized lessons.

* Patience & Encouragement: Every student learns at a different pace. I adapt my teaching style to match your unique learning speed.

* Exam Readiness: I provide regular assessments, homework support, and past question practices to ensure top performance in school tests, final exams and external exams.

WHAT YOU GET:

* Customized Lessons: I tailor every session to fit your unique learning speed and academic goals.

* Practical Learning: I use real-world examples, interactive tools, and live assignments to build your confidence.

* Exam & Homework Support: I can help you ace your upcoming exams, finish assignments, or master a new hobby from scratch.

MY GOAL:

I do not want to just help you to pass your exam or improve your grades, but I also want to inspire a genuine love for learning and problem-solving.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:

I have successfully prepared over 20 primary students for exams achieving a 100% pass rate.

I developed a custom primary-level math curriculum that reduced student topic-anxiety and boosted engagement by 25%.

I maintained a consistent honorary mention from parents during PTA meetings for communication, reliability, and teaching effectiveness.

I received excellent feedback from parents of students I tutor online.

WHY CHOOSE ME?
Whether you are a beginner looking for foundational knowledge or an advanced student aiming for top grades, I am here to guide you step-by-step. I am highly patient, structured, and committed to your success.

My classes usually last for 40-60 minutes.

Let’s book a trial session today and unlock your full potential!
