About Elton

Completing 12 years of instruction after graduating from the University of Southern California with a BS Chemistry degree has defined my career. Have you struggled to connect mechanism drawing to broader concepts like aromatic chemistry or stereochemistry? I focus on isomerism and SN1 or SN2 reactions to build your foundation.

I prioritize radical reactions and retrosynthesis to ensure you understand alcohols and ethers. My method produces independent thinkers. Clear logic is essential. My goal is to equip you with the exact reasoning skills required to solve complex problems on your own.

About the lesson

Conceptual understanding must precede rote memorization for high performance on exams. You will observe me dissecting past paper mechanism walkthroughs during our time together.

I prioritize the logic behind elimination reactions because this remains the core of chemistry. My 12 years of experience at the University of Southern California informs my direct style.

We isolate variables. We identify patterns.

Practice follows theory. I maintain a strict focus on exam requirements. You will find my technique creates a consistent framework for approaching any chemical structure.
