About Vineet
When you study a new science concept or recall an old one, are you able to effectively visualize the step-by-step process? Do you find it easy to apply this understanding to retain concepts and apply it to solve questions?
If the answer is no to any question, I shared the same answer during my early education years. Coming from a town in Punjab, where there was a lack of good education resources and a scarcity of great teachers who could help me visualize, it was a challenge for me to maximize my academic potential.
Through the years of cracking exams like GATE (twice), CSIR-NET, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, and UGC-NET, I worked hard to make a structure of learning, which helped me bridge the gap between reading the concepts and understanding them to the core. Now I am a published author (with 3 publications in top-rated science journals).
I was lucky to find a couple of teachers at JNU, who guided and mentored me to use this structure, adding their rich experience and making me achieve things that seemed impossible at one stage of my journey.
At this stage of my life, when I have been teaching all through these years, spending time in research and academia, I strive to exploit my experience, to help each student, so that they don't face any of the issues that I had to face.

About the lesson

In the first 2 sessions, I would gauge the current proficiency level and understanding of basics, to decide what pace of teaching would suit the student best. This will help comfortable concept-building and ambitious goal-setting to maximize the output of the student.
Once the pace has been set, for teaching, I employ a method of explaining concepts with the help of layman's examples, and storytelling in English/Hindi/Punjabi, which helps in retention and deep understanding of the concepts.
I would use a mix of different tools, which include videos, presentations (for visual understanding) & notes, study material, and a set of practice problems (for rigorous application of concepts).
