About Liana
I hold a PhD in Chemical Sciences and have 11 years of teaching experience working with students across different academic levels. My interest in Chemistry began with curiosity about reactions and substances, which later developed into a strong passion for teaching.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I break down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand them easily. I use examples, diagrams, and practical connections to make learning more effective and engaging. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific research and exploring developments in Chemistry. Teaching Chemistry is very fulfilling because I see students grow in confidence and understanding over time. Helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Chemistry becomes much clearer when students understand the logic behind reactions instead of trying to memorize formulas without meaning. My lessons are designed to build strong understanding in topics such as atomic structure, bonding, thermodynamics, and organic chemistry through simple and structured explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand how substances interact and why reactions occur in specific ways. I also include real-life examples and simple comparisons to help learners connect theory with practical understanding. Each session is calm and interactive, allowing students to ask questions freely and develop confidence while learning at their own pace.
I plan lessons carefully based on each student’s level and learning needs to ensure consistent improvement. Beginners focus on basic concepts, terminology, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners work on balancing equations, understanding reaction mechanisms, and solving structured problems. Advanced students focus on complex topics, detailed explanations, and exam preparation. Practice exercises, revision strategies, and regular feedback are included to strengthen understanding and improve accuracy over time.
Chemistry lessons also help students develop logical thinking, observation skills, and confidence in handling complex ideas. As they improve, they begin to understand how Chemistry connects to everyday life. Many learners start enjoying the subject once they gain clarity.
