About Ira
My interest in chemistry was sparked by the powerful reactions and transformations that occur at a microscopic level. I was fascinated by the idea that invisible particles could have visible and meaningful effects. Over eight years of teaching, I have shared this passion with students, helping them see chemistry as a subject full of logic and beauty. I am an attentive and supportive instructor who adapts to each student’s pace and learning style. I encourage hands-on thinking, consistent practice, and self-belief throughout the learning journey. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading scientific publications, exploring new experiments, and staying connected to the latest advancements in chemistry. Teaching this subject is more than a profession for me—it is a meaningful and fulfilling pursuit.

Chemistry explains how matter changes and interacts, offering insight into the building blocks of the physical world. My lessons aim to make complex chemical processes simple and relatable. I create a welcoming space where curiosity is encouraged and students can ask questions freely. By turning abstract theories into understandable ideas, I help learners move from confusion to clarity.
Beginners explore atoms, molecules, elements, and the structure of the periodic table. Intermediate students study bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and chemical equations. Advanced learners examine organic chemistry, thermodynamics, and equilibrium through more advanced problem-solving and analysis. I use diagrams, examples, visual models, and guided practice to ensure each student gains a strong, lasting understanding.
Through chemistry, students develop discipline, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Many gain a new appreciation for how science shapes the world around them. My mission is to not only improve academic results, but also spark a sense of wonder and confidence in every student who studies chemistry with me.
