About Peter
As a full-time chemistry educator, I work closely with parents as partners in building their child's scientific fluency and lasting problem-solving skills. My focus is on transforming chemistry-related anxiety into genuine confidence. Recognizing that every student perceives chemistry differently, our journey begins by identifying their specific learning style and pinpointing any foundational gaps. Each lesson is carefully structured to make complex topics like chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, equilibrium, and thermodynamics feel intuitive and logical. We move beyond rote memorization of formulas and reactions to focus on why they work, building a flexible problem-solving framework they can apply to any challenge. The goal is to foster deep comprehension and lasting ability, resulting in higher marks and a student who is capable and confident in any quantitative or laboratory-based science they face.
