About Sterling
I have 9 years of experience teaching Chemistry, guiding learners from basic concepts to advanced applications. I earned a B.Sc in Physical Chemistry, which provided a deep understanding of molecular interactions, thermodynamics, reaction mechanisms, and analytical techniques. Throughout my career, I have focused on making lessons interactive, engaging, and practically relevant, helping students develop confidence, competence, and a genuine appreciation for chemistry.

In my lessons, I cover atomic structure, molecular interactions, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, reaction mechanisms, acid-base chemistry, and experimental techniques. My focus is on ensuring students develop a strong conceptual understanding, practical problem-solving skills, and the confidence to explore complex chemical phenomena. Lessons include step-by-step explanations, visual demonstrations, relatable examples, and hands-on exercises to make chemistry both accessible and exciting.
Lessons are designed to match individual student levels. Beginners focus on fundamental concepts, simple calculations, and introductory laboratory skills to build confidence and clarity. Intermediate learners explore reaction dynamics, equilibrium, solution chemistry, titrations, and analytical reasoning to strengthen logical and quantitative skills.
