About Tessa
My journey in chemistry began with a strong interest in understanding how materials react and change. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, where I built a solid foundation in both theory and practical knowledge. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different levels, helping them gain clarity and confidence in the subject. Teaching allows me to make complex ideas easier and more accessible.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my methods based on their needs. I focus on building strong basics, step-by-step learning, and regular practice. I also create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn without pressure. This helps them stay motivated and engaged.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring chemistry through reading and practical understanding. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to clarity. Helping them build confidence, improve performance, and develop a positive approach toward learning is something I truly value, and I am dedicated to supporting their long-term success.

My chemistry lessons focus on making concepts simple, clear, and easy to understand for every student. I guide learners through topics like chemical reactions, bonding, equations, acids and bases, and basic calculations using step-by-step explanation. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind each concept instead of memorizing it. Each lesson includes examples and problem-solving exercises that connect theory with practical understanding. This helps students build confidence gradually.
Lessons are designed based on the student’s level and learning needs. Beginners start with basic concepts and simple reactions. Intermediate learners focus on balancing equations, solving numerical problems, and understanding chemical processes. Advanced students work on deeper concepts, application-based questions, and exam preparation. I provide guided practice, corrections, and repeated explanation wherever needed. This ensures consistent improvement and clarity.
Chemistry also helps students develop analytical thinking and attention to detail. As they begin to understand how substances interact, they gain confidence in solving problems. Many students start enjoying chemistry once they see their progress and improvement. My goal is to make chemistry simple, interesting, and meaningful.
