About Carlos
Hello! I am a chemical engineer with solid teaching experience. I have advised a large number of students from high school to university level (in Spanish and English) improving their skills and in many cases, awakening their taste for science and engineering.
I have also worked in materials science research and R&D project management in the food industry, where I have gained valuable experience, which has helped me to provide more complete and problem-oriented advice.
I am currently pursuing my PhD at Queen Mary University of London in the area of Biomaterials and Bionanotechnology.

I assess my students according to their needs, therefore, in the first session (30 min - free of charge) I will focus on understanding your objectives, areas of opportunity and learning style and, based on this, we will agree on a plan and way of working.
During the session, I explain the topics you are struggling with through examples, exercises and problem solving, while we interact by asking questions and relating complex concepts to everyday situations that are easier to understand.
I can also check your homework or practice assignments and send you feedback.
Sessions are scheduled at least 1 day in advance.
