About Louisa
I am currently in my third year of study as a Chemical Engineering student at The University of Sheffield. My passion for Maths is was has led me towards Engineering. As a future Engineer, solving problems is the basis of what I do and practice throughout my University projects.
I have experience in tutoring Maths at my college where I have assisted my teachers in helping students during exam season.
I am a friendly, motivated and confident individual who would love to motivate students in their future careers and to pass on my knowledge and experience.
I also have a great knowledge in Physical and Organic Chemistry as I have studied these modules at University and also through my GCSE's and A-levels.

Before I start to teach new topics, I will first get to know the student and the level that they are at. Starting from simple questions and heading towards more difficult problems will enable me to adapt my technique to suit the students needs. I am very patient and will challenge students within reason to achieve their best potential.
I'm familiar with OCR, AQA and Edexcel exam boards.
Having studied maths in the UK and the Middle East, I have a good concept of the different ways to tackle and solve problems giving the student a choice of solving problems in the way they feel most comfortable.
