About Bayar
I am a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Missouri. I am currently wrapping up my undergraduate degree, and am currently starting my Master's in Chemical Engineering. I want to be an example to my students of what hard work can land you. I had all the warning signs against me. Coming from a low-income household and living in a bad neighborhood, the stats show I shouldn't be in the spot I am today. I want to ensure that other kids in my spot have access to affordable, high-quality tutoring with a tutor who understands the struggle.

The most important part of tutoring is making sure you understand the material rather than just improving your grade. I encourage students to attempt their homework/exam reviews on their own and try to explain how they came to their answers. From that point, I can see where the student is confused and help them obtain a better understanding that builds on how their brain works. My teaching style emphasizes minimizing friction between how the student thinks and the subject matter at hand. I am best at teaching highschool to college-level students.
