About Camila
I offer a range of teaching experiences, having taught English to first-year students in Costa Rica and coached gymnastics for children aged 4-8. My time as a babysitter has also deepened my understanding of different learning styles. I know firsthand how a great teacher can transform your learning experience and make a subject enjoyable. I'm here to help you get excited about learning and help you understand better the material in hand. :)

I care deeply about ensuring that students understand the material rather than just memorizing it. My passion for learning is rooted in understanding the underlying functions and why things work as they do. In my lessons, I incorporate real-life scenarios whenever possible, dedicate time for thorough explanations, encourage questions throughout, and provide ample practice at the end. This approach allows students to practice and ask any questions, fostering a mentoring relationship that supports deep, meaningful learning.
