About Kathryn
I have worked as a tutor for four years and have been working as a teaching assistant for first-year engineering physics courses for the last year. I have a strong background in STEM coursework and have found a lot of success in assisting students in my time as both a tutor and teaching assistant in this area. I am currently a student working towards a degree in chemical engineering.

I tend to run lessons the same way that you would interact with a professor or TA during office hours as this is where most of my experience working with students comes from. Student will present topic they would like to work on and I will give a review of the subject we are working on, then go into guided practice problems, then having the student apply the concept without me. I use a lot of practice problems when teaching because it enables me to see where exactly you're confused and efficiently clear up any misconceptions. These lessons are meant for middle and high school students as well as students in introductory level college STEM courses.
