About Keisha
Hello! I’m Keisha Marie, a Chemical Engineering graduate with a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving. I enjoy helping students understand challenging topics by breaking them down into simple, clear, and manageable steps.
Although I am new to professional tutoring, I have experience communicating with and assisting different people through my previous online work. I understand that every student learns differently, so I am patient and willing to adjust my explanations according to each student's needs and learning pace.
My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students can confidently ask questions, make mistakes, and improve their skills. I focus on Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry, and I can help students with homework, lesson reviews, practice exercises, and preparation for quizzes or exams.
I look forward to helping you build your confidence in mathematics and discover that math can be easier and more enjoyable than you think!

I believe mathematics becomes easier when it is explained clearly, patiently, and step by step. My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer, but also to understand why and how they arrived at it.
In my lessons, I use simple explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and real-life situations whenever possible. I adjust my approach depending on the student's level and learning pace, and I encourage students to ask questions whenever something is unclear.
I usually begin my lesson by asking about the student's current topic or the areas they find challenging. We then review the basic concepts, work through examples together, and gradually move to practice problems. I give students the opportunity to solve problems on their own while providing guidance when needed. At the end of the lesson, we review the important points and identify what they should continue practicing.
As a tutor, I am patient, approachable, and willing to explain a concept in different ways until it becomes easier to understand. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because mistakes are part of learning. I also focus on building confidence, not just memorizing formulas.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high school, and senior high school students who want to strengthen their mathematics skills, review school lessons, prepare for quizzes, or simply become more confident in solving math problems.
I aim to make every lesson simple, supportive, and engaging, so students can learn mathematics at their own pace and gradually become more independent problem-solvers.
