About Dharanija
I’m a postgraduate in Chemical Engineering, currently pursuing a PhD focused on turning tire waste into valuable plastic products for everyday use. My work is all about applying math and science to solve real-world problems, and that’s the mindset I bring to teaching. I’ve seen many students shy away from math and science because they believe these subjects are too difficult or only for a select few. I want to change that by showing them that learning is a process that anyone can succeed in with the right support. Through my experience tutoring Math, Chemistry, and Physics, I’ve helped students improve their understanding, build confidence, and even start to enjoy what they once found intimidating. I want to teach because I believe every student deserves the chance to see that math and science are not just possible, but practical, useful, and even fun.

My personal approach to private tutoring is all about understanding each student’s unique needs and helping them feel confident in subjects they once found difficult. I’ve provided one-on-one tutoring in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics for students up to 12th grade, and I’ve seen firsthand that every student learns differently. That’s why I create customised lesson plans tailored to how they learn best—whether it’s through step-by-step practice, visual explanations, or real-life examples. I also focus on building a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and make mistakes. Many of my students started out struggling, but with consistent support, they improved their understanding and passed their exams. I’d share this experience with future students to show that I’ve helped others succeed, and I’m ready to help them do the same.
