About Kealani

I am a licensed ground instructor and CFI/CFII/MEI with over 1250 hours of dual given. I have sent over 60 checkrides working with students ranging from Private to CFII/MEI certifications. I completed my training in Las Vegas, NV and have spent most of my time as an instructor in the Utah Valley area. I love getting to meet and work with other pilots who have similar goals in aviation. I have experience teaching both large groups and individuals in person and online. I look forward to meeting with you!

About the lesson

My lessons are centered on the student's questions, needs, and goals as well as making sure that you are well prepared for all of the required knowledge areas per the code of federal regulations. Together we will work on understanding principles of flight and airmanship, applying this knowledge to scenario based questions that you might be asked on your check ride, and learning how to think through and answer any unexpected questions.

I have provided instruction for Private, Instrument, Commercial, Com - Multi, CFII, and MEI Certifications up to this point. While I can answer many questions that you may have about aviation in general, the majority of my flight hours have been in the Cessna 172 and Piper Seminole and some system/aircraft specific questions may be beyond my realm of expertise.

I’ve had many people in my life very knowledgeable about a subject but so utterly unable to teach it and Kealani is not only extremely smart and knowledgeable but is so good at teaching and explaining. She has the patience to work with you and a caring character that wants you to succeed. She is one of the biggest reasons I passed my private checkride and I don’t know what I would have done without her. If you are trying to choose someone to help you you won’t find better than her genuinely.
