About Luma
I am a passionate violin tutor with 10+ years of teaching experience, working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to guide learners from different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them develop confidence and a deeper appreciation for music.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons according to individual goals and learning styles. Whether students are learning for examinations, performances, or personal enjoyment, I ensure that lessons are engaging and easy to understand.
One of my proudest achievements has been helping many students progress from beginners to confident violin players. I focus on building strong fundamentals while creating a positive and supportive learning environment. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music and continue learning with confidence.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and friendly learning atmosphere. Through compassion, communication, and encouragement, I help students develop confidence and enjoy the process of learning music.
For violin lessons, I focus on posture, bowing techniques, rhythm exercises, finger coordination, and music reading. I believe that mastering the basics provides a strong foundation for future growth.
I regularly communicate with students to understand their goals and challenges. By providing personalized guidance and positive feedback, I help students stay motivated and make steady progress.
Besides violin, I can teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and performance preparation. These subjects help students develop a deeper understanding of music and strengthen their overall abilities.
My objective is to help students become skilled musicians and lifelong learners.
