About Michele
My name is Michele and I am a Florida certified math teacher. I have a Bachelor's in Business Administration and completed the MINT 2.0 state-approved teacher preparation program for non-education majors with Miami Dade County Public Schools. I have been a classroom teacher for more than 10 years. I started as a tutor in 2011 at a college helping students with additional assistance with remedial math course and college math courses. Then I became an Adjunct Math Instructor for the Math Department in the same college. In 2016 I became an MDCPS classroom teacher. I have taught Middle School and High School students specializing in grades 5th to 9th.
My philosophy is that ALL students CAN learn. I strive at meeting all my students' differentiated learning needs to help them meet their maximum learning potentials. My goal as your tutor is to help you improve your academic performance by ensuring you understand the concepts you are struggling with, I do this by guiding you through the solution process and clearing any misconceptions that you have on the concept. This will improve your confidence as a math learner and improve your academic performance in math.
