About Amiee
Hi there! I’m a teacher who loves helping kids like you feel confident, smart, and ready to learn new things. I’ve worked with lots of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, and I know that everyone learns in their special way—that’s what makes tutoring so fun! This summer, I’m offering one-on-one tutoring to help you with reading, writing, or math (or all three!). We’ll work together at your pace, use fun games and activities, and make sure you feel proud of everything you learn. I’m here to help you feel ready for the next school year and have fun while doing it! When we have a lesson, we might start with a quick warm-up game, then dive into something we want to improve on. I’ll cheer you on, help you when you're stuck, and always make sure you're learning in a way that makes sense to you. I love seeing students grow and say, “I get it now!” That’s the best part of my job. You can work with me online or in person—whatever works best for you and your family. I can’t wait to get to know you, hear what you’re interested in, and help you feel awesome about learning this summer!

As a certified elementary school teacher, I believe that every child learns differently—and my tutoring approach reflects that. I tailor each session to your child’s unique needs, learning style, and pace. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and designed to build both academic skills and confidence. Teaching Method & Techniques: I use a mix of research-based strategies including explicit instruction, guided practice, and hands-on activities. I incorporate visuals, games, and real-world connections to make learning meaningful and fun. Positive reinforcement and encouragement are key to my approach—students should feel safe making mistakes and proud of their progress. Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with a warm-up or review to activate prior knowledge. We then move into a focused skill or concept using mini-lessons and interactive practice. The session ends with a quick review, student reflection, and a preview of what’s next. I also provide optional extension activities for continued learning between sessions. What Sets Me Apart: With years of classroom experience and a deep understanding of 3rd–5th grade standards, I offer targeted instruction that aligns with school expectations while being engaging and personalized. I build strong relationships with students, which helps motivate them and support their overall growth.
