About Mikayla
I am a certified EC-6 teacher. My degree is in Elementary Education and this is my first year. My student teaching was completed in an ELA/SS classroom at a private school rotating through grades 2-6. I have certifications in dyslexia training as well as behavioral support.

My teaching method is to approach the topic in an engaging and exciting way that will encourage students to WANT to learn and understand. Interactive activities and giving students the chance to share their thoughts are two ways I lead my lessons.
