I’m Lynn Wilson, an experienced teacher and literacy specialist with over twenty years of work in Pennsylvania public education. I bring a calm, structured, and highly professional approach to tutoring, helping students and adult learners build confidence, clarity, and long-term academic skills. My background includes reading intervention, executive functioning coaching, academic writing instruction, and multilingual learner support, allowing me to meet a wide range of learning needs with expertise and care.

I use evidence‑based literacy practices, explicit executive functioning strategies, and language scaffolds that help students understand both the skills and the processes behind successful learning.
A typical lesson begins with a quick check‑in and a review of goals, followed by targeted instruction based on the student’s needs—whether that’s reading development, writing support, organization, study skills, or English language growth. I model strategies, guide students through practice, and end each session with a brief reflection and a plan for what to apply between lessons.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine literacy expertise, executive functioning coaching, and multilingual learner support in one cohesive approach. Students not only improve academically—they learn how to manage tasks, communicate clearly, and build long‑term independence.
