About Zsuzsanna

Hello and welcome to a joyful journey into music! My name is Zsuzsanna, and I am a professional violinist and officially certified SUZUKI Violin Teacher, having successfully completed my Level 2 training with the European Suzuki Association (ESA). I have over 2 years of dedicated experience delivering 1:1 Suzuki instruction to young learners. Please note that I am currently living outside the UK, and all my lessons are delivered strictly online via high-quality video sessions. I am now accepting bookings for a November 1st start, and I am delighted to offer the first lesson for free.Having lived and worked within the British musical community for many years, I combine international orchestral experience with specialised Early Years (EYFS) pedagogy. What Parents Say About Me:"Zsuzsanna has a warm, enthusiastic, and supportive approach which led to an immediate connection... she has strong skills in keeping motivation high." – Astrid (Parent of a long-term student)"Miss Zsuzsanna is very passionate... I was impressed by her gentle manner keeping my daughter focused and enthusiastic towards the violin." – Agata (Parent)

About the lesson

The Suzuki Approach – "Ability Can Be Developed":My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in Shinichi Suzuki’s Mother Tongue Method. I believe that every child can learn to play the violin beautifully when immersed in a supportive, encouraging environment. How My Online Suzuki Studio Works:Specialised Age Group: I passionately specialise in welcoming the youngest musicians, focusing primarily on the 4–8 age group, as well as guiding continuing Suzuki students. The Suzuki Triangle (Parental Role): Parental involvement is the cornerstone of my studio. For young children, a parent must attend the online lessons to act as a supportive "home teacher" during daily practice. No previous musical knowledge is required from the parent!Aural Training First: Mirroring the way children learn to speak, we focus heavily on listening, developing a beautiful tone, and mastering core physical setup habits before introducing music reading.Focused Lessons: To match the natural attention span of young learners, lessons are structured into high-energy, playful 30-minute sessions.Positive Feedback & Motivation: I use creative visual rewards, such as interactive digital emoji systems and custom supplementary progress videos, to keep your child enthusiastic between lessons.Term Commitment:To maintain steady progress and build a strong routine, lessons are structured around fixed 10 to 12-week block terms (Season Plan), perfectly aligning with the standard British school term system.I look forward to welcoming your family into the wonderful world of Suzuki violin!
