I have a degree in Early Chilhood Education and a degree in Special Education. I have current teaching certifications in both areas. I have been teaching Special Education in brick and mortar classrooms for 7 years. I am a certified Wilson Reading practitioner.

My teaching methods are based on Orton Gillingham strategies, which are research based. Students learn through explicit reading intervention when it is presented through multi-sensory instruction. My lessons are taught in 9 short parts that include letter naming, as well as decoding and encoding words, sentences, and controlled text passages.
