About Yanet

Hola! I’m Yanet — originally from Patagonia, one of the most beautiful regions in the south of Argentina.

For the past 9 years, I’ve been living abroad, including 5 years in Copenhagen, Denmark, and I am currently based in Singapore. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to experience different cultures, languages, and ways of life — something that has deeply shaped my perspective on communication and learning.

During the pandemic, I decided to take that passion further and became a certified Spanish teacher (ELE) through the Cervantes Institute in Spain. Alongside this, I’ve built my professional career in the culinary and hospitality world, where creativity, structure, and communication are essential every day.

My background in the arts and gastronomy strongly influences the way I teach. I believe language learning should be dynamic, creative, and connected to real life — not just grammar and textbooks, but culture, expression, and confidence.

Now, I’ve decided to fully commit to teaching Spanish and sharing this passion. I truly believe that language and cultural exchange are powerful tools to connect people and open new opportunities.

I’m a certified Spanish teacher (ELE) and TEFL-certified instructor with an international background and a strong foundation in communication, hospitality, and real-world interaction. I also hold a Master’s in Food & Beverage Management and studies in Project Management, which means my classes are not only engaging, but also structured, goal-oriented, and effective.

I don’t teach Spanish like a textbook — I teach it like a living language.

Regarding the fees, my rate for online lessons is $35 per hour. For in-person sessions, there is an additional travel fee of $15 to cover transportation and commuting time. We can discuss the final logistics once we confirm the exact location."
