Holding an authenticated Ijazah in the Seven Qira'at — a rare, chain-verified certification tracing back to the Prophet ﷺ — I bring a level of precision and authenticity that few tutors can offer. Combined with a PhD-level academic background and over 10 years of teaching experience, my lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student's pace and needs.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previous session, followed by focused Tajweed rule instruction with real Quranic examples, then guided recitation with immediate corrective feedback. For Hifz students, I incorporate spaced repetition and revision techniques proven to strengthen long-term memorization. Beyond recitation and memorization, I place great emphasis on helping students build a living relationship with the Quran — understanding its meanings, reflecting on its verses, and applying its guidance in daily life. The goal is not just a correct recitation, but a heart connected to the Book of Allah.
What truly sets me apart is my 4 years of experience teaching non-native Arabic speakers in the United States. I understand the specific challenges English speakers face — from unfamiliar sounds like ع and غ to the rhythm of Arabic recitation — and I know exactly how to bridge that gap with patience and clarity.
