About Meghan
I’m a certified Ontario teacher. I have been tutoring the last three years and have worked with students of all ages, from kindergarten to post-secondary.
I was employed as a supply teacher for over a year, have worked a contract at a private school, where I taught HSB4U, creating my own unit and lesson plans, worked as a CYW for 3 years, spending time with youth in numerous capacities who bring many behavioural and cognitive challenges to the table, and am currently employed as a student success teacher at a treatment facility for struggling youth.
I have taken numerous additional qualifications and licenses, including currently working on my master's in counselling psychology degree.

I approach subjects with flexibility. We work together to create a schedule and work in communication that sets us both up for success!
Online help is most successful to me. There can be no in person distractions, and you don’t have to waste your time working on something if you don’t necessarily need my help while you are paying me and I wait.
For older students, using something like google docs lets us work back and forth when we don’t need to be on webcam! For younger students, a mixture of in-person and online tutoring seems to be a good fit.
I can tutor anything elementary level and social sciences and humanities to university. I can aid in phonics, reading, writing, printing, basic math, essay outlines and editing/revising, and so much more!

Details
Please keep in mind how much background work goes into planning for tutoring!!
In addition to having to pay for supplies, upkeep of my computer, printer and internet usage.
On top of this, driving to work for one hour rather than 8 hours is hard. I am trying to keep things fair for everyone. Please keep these thoughts in mind!:)
