My name is Janessa Dixon, and I have been a public school educator for the past 9 years. I have taught various levels of high school English, and I will be starting a new chapter as a middle school educator in the fall! With 9 years of high school classroom experience, I bring a deep understanding of how to help students succeed in English. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in writing and reading comprehension, tailored to meet each student’s individual needs and learning style.
I use a supportive, student-centered approach that combines clear instruction with practical exercises. Whether we’re analyzing literature, working on essay structure, or strengthening critical reading skills, I aim to make each session engaging and confidence-boosting.
