About Angela
I am a public school Italian teacher in Massachusetts. I have been teaching in my district for 10 years but have additional experience teaching Italian to children as young as 3 through adult education language courses. I have a B.A. in Italian Studies and a M.A. in Italian literature and culture.

Italian
My teaching style is a hybrid of a traditional approach and new techniques based on the proficiency model and project-based learning. My classes are fun, dynamic, and interactive, whether we are learning a new grammatical structure or engaging in communicative activities. Technology and different forms of media are easily integrated into the daily life of the classroom and are important tools for reaching diverse learners. In collaboration with my department colleagues, I have been a leader in writing curriculum as well as developing and implementing authentic assessments.
