About Miriam
Hi! I am a K-12 and adult certified teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). I graduated from UMBC with my Master's degree in 2022. I am also certified to teach secondary Spanish. Currently I work as a high school ELD (English Language Development) teacher, but I have also worked with adults and younger children. I'm a mom to three boys and in my spare time enjoy baking cookies and other treats! I look forward to "meeting" you soon!

I am a high school teacher and currently work with teenagers, but I love to work with all age groups! I have also taught elementary and middle school, and adults who are learning English as another language. I like to meet my students where they are and help them learn what they want to! We can focus on speaking, vocabulary, writing, etc. I customize my lesson plans to help you reach your goals.
