About Mila
I hold a Master’s degree in music with a focus on guitar performance and have spent the past 8 years teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My passion for music and education drives me to create lessons that are both technically sound and creatively inspiring. I believe that learning guitar is not just about playing notes but about expressing yourself and connecting deeply with the music. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with beginners, intermediate players, and advanced musicians, tailoring lessons to meet individual goals and learning styles. I emphasize building strong foundational skills like fingerstyle technique, chord theory, and improvisation, while encouraging students to explore their own creativity. Patience, clear communication, and encouragement are key components of my teaching approach. I continually seek to enhance my teaching methods by incorporating new techniques and educational resources. This helps me provide engaging and effective lessons that keep students motivated and eager to learn. Creating a supportive and positive learning environment is essential to me, where students feel comfortable taking risks and growing as musicians. Outside of teaching, I remain active in the music community through performances and ongoing study, which enriches the insights I bring to my students. Ultimately, my goal is to inspire a lifelong love of guitar and help every student unlock their full potential as a musician.

With 8 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in music, my guitar lessons focus on developing core skills such as fingerstyle techniques, chord theory, and improvisation. The emphasis is on building a strong technical foundation while encouraging creativity and personal expression.
Lessons incorporate hands-on practice with rhythm, strumming patterns, and soloing skills, helping students become versatile guitarists. I include exercises designed to improve timing, finger dexterity, and musical understanding. Exploring different genres keeps the learning experience engaging and broadens musical horizons.
I also assist students preparing for performances, exams, or personal projects, offering flexible lesson plans that accommodate various learning speeds and preferences. Constructive feedback and clear guidance help learners overcome challenges and make steady progress.
