About Luigi

Music has always been my life’s compass. The year 2004 marked a turning point when I decided to fully embrace this passion, enrolling at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome. Under the expert guidance of M° Lello Panico, I graduated in 2009 with a degree in modern guitar. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to perform and teach both in Italy and internationally. Traveling has enriched my musical journey immensely, but one constant has remained: my love for sharing the magic of guitar through teaching. Connecting with students from diverse backgrounds and inspiring their musical growth is incredibly fulfilling. After all, music is a shared language best expressed through collaboration.

  • 1) When did you first develop a passion for music and your favorite instrument?

Music has always been more than a hobby for me; it’s a calling. It all started in my hometown of Spoleto, Italy, jamming with friends and playing local pubs. Those early days of discovery were everything. By 2004, I knew I had to take it to the next level:

2004: Moved to Rome to study at the Saint Louis College of Music.

2009: Graduated under the guidance of M° Lello Panico, solidifying the guitar as my life's work.
  • 2) Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop?

I have a deep love for the "groove" and the "soul." I can listen to Blues, Soul, Funk, and Jazz forever.

"Artists who master the balance of technique and feeling never drive me crazy because there is always a new rhythmic nuance or a clever chord voicing to discover."

I also find a lot of peace in Classical music, which I listen to frequently to balance out my modern playing.
  • 3) Explain the most difficult or riveting course you could give to a student.

For me, it’s "Navigating Chord Changes and Soloing." Many guitarists can play a scale, but teaching a student how to "weave" through complex jazz or funk changes so that their solo actually tells a story is the ultimate challenge. It’s the moment where theory meets intuition. We take a song you love and break down the "how" and "why" of the melody, transforming you from someone who just plays notes into someone who creates music.
  • 4) What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

While I am biased toward the guitar, I believe the Violin (or any fretless string instrument) is incredibly difficult. On the guitar, we have frets to guide us, but a violinist must rely entirely on muscle memory and an impeccable ear for intonation. That level of physical precision is a lifelong pursuit.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

My career has taken me from Italian jazz clubs to Royal Caribbean cruise ships traveling the world. My philosophy relies on three pillars:

Versatility: Being able to play everything from Broadway shows to orchestra pieces and rock sets.

Continuous Exploration: It is vital to "stay fresh." I travel constantly to meet musicians from diverse cultures. I love living in different places—like my move to Wroclaw in 2018—to absorb new energies and foster unique collaborations.

A Supportive Environment: Success happens when a student feels encouraged. I focus on making lessons clear, pleasant, and never "too complicated."
  • 6) Name three musicians you dream of meeting in a bar in the early hours.

Eric Clapton: To discuss the "purity" of the Blues and his journey from the raw energy of Cream to his refined, soulful phrasing.

Brian May: I’m fascinated by his precision. I’d ask about the "Red Special" and how he uses his knowledge of physics to create those massive, orchestral guitar layers.

Jeff Beck: The ultimate "guitarist's guitarist." I’d want to know how he constantly reinvented himself and pushed the boundaries of the instrument using just his fingers and a tremolo bar.
  • 7) Provide a valuable anecdote related to music.

My time with Royal Caribbean International (starting in 2013) was transformative. Playing in a high-level entertainment team meant being ready for anything: one night a full orchestra piece, the next a high-energy pop show.

The Lesson: Being a professional isn't just about how fast you can play; it’s about reliability, adaptability, and the ability to connect with an audience from any culture in the world.
  • 8) What are the little touches that make you a Superprof?

I provide a complete "ecosystem" for my students to ensure they grow every day:

    - Custom Video TutorialsAfter each lesson, I record personalized videos so you never feel lost during practice.
    - Tailored PDF MethodsHigh-quality guitar methods specifically chosen for your personal goals.
