About Daman Stephen
My name is Daman Stephen Naanmiap, from plateau state Nigeria. I grew as an orphan under the care of my aunt who sponsored me through school and groomed me towards teaching, since she was a teacher herself. I grew all my life hoping to be a teacher, so I pursued a national certificate in Geography ducation and subsequently a degree in Geography. I'm currently doing a compulsory national service in Jalingo, Nigeria and will be done by February.

Personally, I grew learning the hard way. Hardway because I learnt from poorly motivated teachers, who although are qualified, see no reason to make extra sacrifices to transfer knowledge efficiently to learners. This made significant number of people I started with drop out of school. This reason made me intentional about dedicating myself to effective teaching even without significant motivation (I feel my experience is enough motivation). This made me pursue a certificate in education and a BSc in Geography to ensure I'm filled with relevant skills and knowledge to teach or tutor effectively.
