About Antonette
I have been a high school teacher for the last 19 years in Florida. I teach AP Statistics, Probability, and Statistics Honors in high school. Before that, I was a university assistant professor in the College of Business, teaching quantitative methods and analysis to graduate students.

My teaching method online is to get to the very core of the student's needs and weaknesses in math. Once these are identified, learning starts.
Typically, the students inform me of the course outline of the subject, what needs help with, and share with me the materials given in class by the teacher. I help the student via reteaching the concepts. I am not a supplier of answers for tests and homework. I expect the student to learn and not just to get the answers with no understanding/mastery of the concepts.
I would like to tutor middle to high school kids who are seriously seeking help to learn the easy way. One-on-one is a good platform to teach strategies and to catch math problems.

My rate is $40/hour for online tutoring. If face-to-face tutoring is requested, I am available at the Lake Mary, FL, public library for $60/hour.
